Special Opportunity: Sponsor the Summit Diversity Luncheon Film
Many of you have attended our Diversity Luncheons at Cloud Foundry Summit and recognize their value for enriching our community and opening up conversation. Demonstrate your organization’s support of a more diverse open source community by sponsoring the Chasing Grace Project’s film screening at Cloud Foundry Summit. We showed Episode 1 at Boston Summit and will be screening the second episode in Basel. Sponsorship includes signage and verbal recognition at densely attended lunch, as well as social media and blog campaigns from both Cloud Foundry and the Chasing Grace Project. Reach out to Kimberly Andrews with questions.
ChickTech + Cloud Foundry Foundation
This month we partnered with ChickTech Bay Area on their Women in Open Source series. ChickTech is a non-profit organization dedicated to retaining women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing technology-based careers. Working with this organization is part of our Diversity and Inclusion program. If you have suggestions for other organizations with whom we should partner, please reach out to Caitlyn O’Connell directly.
New Research Report: Where PaaS, Containers and Serverless Stand in a Multi-Platform World
Cloud Foundry Foundation and ClearPath Strategies have conducted another round of research, highlighting current cloud-native trends and usage of PaaS, containers and serverless technologies. As IT Decision makers opt for a multi-platform approach, they seek interoperability from available technologies that will translate into the flexibility they need for the future of business. More people are using PaaS now in production, rather than simply evaluating it. This indicates market maturity of PaaS, as “evaluators” become “users.” Read the full report.
