What is the recommended attire?
There is no set dress code and, like many open source events, attendees will dress in a range, from jeans to suits. Our recommendation is business casual; jeans are absolutely acceptable. Please do layer up; conference rooms have a tendency to get cold.
Will there be coat or luggage check available?
No, a coat and luggage check will not be available onsite.
What meals are provided with my summit registration?
Morning coffee, lunch, and breaks will be provided on Wednesday and Thursday, as well as a Welcome Reception and Booth Crawl on Wednesday.
I have a dietary restriction. Who should I contact?
Please send an email to email@example.com. We will do our best to accommodate, but can’t guarantee all requests.
Are Summit sessions being recorded or livestreamed?
Yes, all keynote and conference sessions will be recorded and posted to the website within one week of the event.
Do I need to sign up for breakout sessions?
To help us gauge the popularity of sessions, make final room assignments, and prevent overcrowding, we are asking everyone to take a moment to build your personal schedule. The more participation we have among pre-event schedule builders the less chance session rooms will be standing room only. To get started, please head to the schedule site (available in mid-January) and signup (or login if you already have an account). After logging in, peruse the schedule and when you see a session you’re interested in attending, simply click on the white circle next to the title. This will automatically add the session to your own personal schedule. Lastly, for easy access back to your schedule on your phone, bookmark or add the mobile agenda to your home screen with this link: https://cfeu19.sched.com.
Will session slides be made available?
Session slides will be available post-event in Sched.com. Note that some talks may not be available by presenter request.
Are there bookable meeting rooms I can use during the conference?
There will not be any bookable meeting rooms at Cloud Foundry Summit Europe.
Is registration for Cloud Foundry events GDPR compliant?

Is there a registration deadline?
Yes, you can view deadlines on the main event page.
Can I register onsite?
Yes, if you did not have a chance to register online before the event, you may register on-site. Please note that the registration process on-site may take 10-15 minutes. We will only be able to accept credit card payments.
Does registration include meals?
The conference includes morning coffee, breaks, and lunch, as well as a Welcome Reception and Sponsor Booth Crawl.
Is this event open to anyone to attend?
Yes, the event is open to anyone to attend, though it is geared towards the following people in the Cloud Foundry community: Application Developers, IT Operations, Technical Management, Line-of-Business (LOB) Leadership, Service Providers and other Cloud Foundry Contributors.
May I bring guests?
Unfortunately, anyone attending the event must be an official participant: attendee, speaker, sponsor or media.
Do I qualify for the Academic registration type?
Academic registration is available to full-time students or faculty of an academic institution of higher education. Students and full-time faculty who register as Academic attendees will be required to upload a valid student or faculty ID during the registration process. Is there a discount for groups?
If you have a group of 10 or more people, you can receive a 10% discount on all passes. All pass types must be the same and all registrations must be processed under one group registration and paid for by the same credit card. To create a group, select “Add another Person” at the bottom of the registration form. When 10 or more people are added, the 10% discount will be automatically applied. What is the cancellation and refund policy?
If you must cancel for any reason, log back into your registration using your confirmation number and select "unregister" or email us at email@example.com. Refunds will only be issued for cancellations received no later than August 26, 2019 at 11:59PM CET. Please note that all refunds are subject to a 3.5% processing fee and may take up to 14 days to process. If you are unable to attend, you may substitute another attendee in lieu of cancellation. To substitute an attendee, you may return to the registration form, log in as 'Already Registered' and edit the registration with the new attendee's information. Utilizing this feature will also allow you to re-issue yourself a receipt and/or confirmation should you need it.
What is the substitution policy?
Click “Registration Information” in your confirmation email or “Already Registered?” on the registration form homepage, enter your email and confirmation number, and click “Substitute Registration.” You will be asked to substitute your first name, last name, and email address. You may update additional fields and questions collected in the form by clicking “modify the registration” afterwards.
How can I retrieve a copy of my receipt?
The receipt will be included in your confirmation email. If you need an official email, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are there day passes available?
No, only full conference passes are available.
I can't / don't want to use a credit card to pay for my registration. What should I do?
If you are unable to pay by credit card, please email email@example.com with the conference name you are interested in attending and request to be invoiced for registration. Payment must be received at least 1 week prior to the event, in order to complete registration.
Are there scholarships available for this event?
Yes. Please visit the Getting There page for information on how to qualify and apply for scholarships.
I need a visa letter to attend this event. How do I request one?

Are there volunteer opportunities at this conference?
No, at this time there are not any volunteer opportunities for this conference.
Are there media passes available?

Venue & Travel
Is a hotel reservation included in my registration?
No. Visit the Getting There page for more information about how to make a hotel reservation.
When will I receive confirmation of my hotel reservation?
Attendees will receive hotel room confirmations directly from the hotel. If you did not receive a confirmation, please contact the hotel directly.
I have a question regarding exhibit sales and sponsorships. Who should I contact?

Where can I get a copy of the exhibitor floorplan?
Sponsors may view the floorplan, once available, by accessing the exhibitor portal, available in May 2019.
I am an exhibitor, where can I find booth information and deadlines?
For information about your booth and deadlines, visit the Exhibitor Portal, available in April, and log in using the credentials provided to you. If you have not received login credentials or cannot locate them, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am staffing a booth in the sponsor showcase and not attending any sessions. Do I need to register?
For security purposes, everyone participating in the conference must be registered. Please speak to your company’s sponsorship contact if you need to register as a sponsor. For further questions, please email email@example.com.
Diversity & Inclusion
Will there be a nursing room at the conference?
Yes, we will be providing a private lactation room at this year’s event to aid in the comfort and accessibility for our nursing attendees. The room will be available all days of the event and will be located onsite in the convention center. For location information, please check with any registration desk staff onsite.
Will child care be provided?
Yes, we are pleased to offer complimentary child care for our attendees traveling with children this year. Professional child care services will be provided during event hours September 9-11, 2019. If you would like to sign up your child(ren) for this service, please complete the RSVP form by Friday, August 16, 2019. We are unable to fulfill child care requests after this date. Child care form is now closed.
Will there be a quiet room onsite?
Yes, all attendees may use the Quiet Room as needed. It is a physical space where conversation and interaction are not permitted. Location information will be available onsite.
Is the conference venue ADA Accessible?

Where do I find information on travel funding?
