Cloud Foundry Elects Gold Members to Board of Directors

San Francisco, January 30, 2020 — Cloud Foundry Foundation, home to open source projects helping build the future of cloud applications, today announced the election results for the 2020 Gold member representatives on the Board of Directors. Alan Flower, CTO of Europe for HCL and Stephan Massalt, VP of Innovation Lab at Swisscom, will return to the Cloud Foundry Foundation Board of Directors, which is comprised of seven individuals from the five Platinum member companies and two specially elected Gold member companies.

“We are pleased and excited to have Alan and Stephan continue to serve on the Board of Directors as representatives of our Gold members,” said Abby Kearns, executive director, Cloud Foundry Foundation. “Their vision and commitment to the Foundation, informed by their organizations’ goals and investment in the platform, make them assets on the Board of Directors.” 

The Board of Directors is accountable for strategic direction and business governance of Cloud Foundry Foundation, and is composed of business leaders at the world’s leading technology companies, including:

  • John Roese, Dell EMC, global chief technology officer and chairman, Cloud Foundry Foundation
  • Paul Fazzone, VMware, senior vice president, tanzu and treasurer, Cloud Foundry Foundation
  • Thomas Di Giacomo, SUSE, chief technology officer and secretary, Cloud Foundry Foundation
  • Jason McGee, IBM Cloud Platform, IBM fellow, vice president and chief technology officer
