Cloud Foundry Foundation supports the Black Lives Matter movement and believes in racial equity for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC). We stand with our open source community using their voices and bodies to protest racism and systemic violence. Silence is complicity, and we refuse to be complicit in a system that dehumanizes, oppresses, and persecutes human beings based on the color of their skin.
The Foundation is a group of individuals with shared values and we raise our voices together to express our anger and grief over the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and every Black person killed and maimed as a result of a racist culture. We believe that Black lives matter, full stop.
As a Foundation, we have an opportunity to take a look at white supremacy in the technology industry and how we can help dismantle it. We look forward to having productive discussions within our community.
