Containerizing COTS Applications to Run on Kubernetes: Webinar 6/10

Many leading companies have decided to leverage Third Party applications or Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) applications because they provide broad functionality right out of the “box.” However, setting up and running COTS applications can be quite resource- and maintenance-intensive.

The vast amount of information stored in many COTS products–when combined with a fixed-capacity infrastructure–can create bottlenecks in developing, testing and deploying new functionalities. Moreover, maintenance often requires application downtime.

To mitigate these issues, Wipro Digital and VMware Tanzu recommend taking advantage of cloud-native environments and their elements of elasticity, resilience, enhanced security, and shortened software development cycles.

We invite you to join cloud technologists from Wipro and VMware in a webinar on June 10 as they explore the challenges, as well as the compelling business, and technological reasons for containerizing COTS software to run on Kubernetes. They will also demonstrate how to use Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to transform the content and assets of a COTS application into a scalable and resilient environment leveraging the VMware Tanzu portfolio.
